Our sixth annual North Street Community Retreat is quickly approaching! There is just something about spending extended time with one another that helps us in developing community more than a couple of hours every week can. Here are some more details:
- EVERYONE is invited to come. This is the weekend of President’s Day (so Monday 2/17 is a holiday) and the hope is to spend extended time with one another. The programming will be minimal to maximize our fellowship together. We will have a special time of worship together on Sunday morning and no gathering of worship in Hingham that day. We invite everyone to come to worship on Sunday and stay for lunch, even if you're not planning on staying over night.
- As always, the retreat will be at Windsor Hills Campground just outside Hillsboro, NH. We'll be staying in "the Inn." You can also visit this site for directions to the campground.
- Costs include all food (8 meals!) and overnights (3 nights!) in good quality rooms with individual bathrooms.
- The shared costs figure out as follows:
- $150/person, assuming double occupancy
- $75/child (4-12)
- $200/person, single occupancy (but double up and save!)
- $100 for one night if anyone can only go for one night. (Further nights can be added later for the full amount, but not the other way around. i.e. If one pays the full amount, it cannot be reduced during the actual weekend of the retreat.)
- As always, we do not want the cost of the retreat to be prohibitive for anyone. Please speak with Pastor Jeremy if it is an issue.
- Please sign up on the sheet on the welcome pulpit (or e-mail Pastor Jeremy) and pay at least a deposit ($25/per person) ASAP. All payments can be submitted in the offering boxes (but mark it clearly!). Total amount due is due the Sunday prior to our leaving (2/9).
